Event Types

Every action in Kilnside is recorded as an event. Events are permanent records — they capture what happened, when, and to which animal or asset.

Types of Events

Viewing Events

Go to the Events tab to see recent events across your farm. You can filter by type and search by animal name.

Event Details

Each event records:

• What happened — the type and specific action
• When — the exact date and time
• Which animal — linked to a specific asset
• Who recorded it — your user account
• How it was recorded — voice, form, or tag scan

Correcting Events

If you made a mistake, tell Kilnside:

• "Actually Ewe 42 weighed 70, not 68"
• "That last movement was wrong, they went to South Field"

The correction is recorded as a new event that supersedes the original. The original event is kept for audit purposes but marked as corrected.
