Download the App

Kilnside is available for Android. Your farm administrator will provide you with a download link or APK file.

Sign In

1. Open the Kilnside app
2. Enter your email and password
3. Tap Sign In

The app will connect and download your farm data. This first sync may take a minute depending on how many animals and events are on your farm.

What You'll See

After signing in, you'll land on the Chat tab. This is your main workspace — you can speak, type, or scan tags here.

At the bottom of the screen you'll see five tabs:

Tab	What it does
Chat	Talk to Kilnside, record events, see confirmations
Animals	Browse and search your livestock
Events	View recent events across your farm
Map	See where your animals and fields are
Settings	Manage your device, pair a wand, check sync status

Download the Speech Model

For voice input to work offline, Kilnside needs a small speech model on your phone.

1. Go to Settings
2. Under Speech Model, tap Download
3. Wait for the download to finish (about 40MB on WiFi)

Once downloaded, voice recording works anywhere — no phone signal needed.
